Started full-time professionally as a Computer Programmer in 1978 with a Pick system (was doing part-time FORTRAN for market research while in college) - I have done many Pick/Universe (with AIX, Solaris and other Unix systems) and other Multi-Value applications, but have also done interface work in C++, MASM, Visual (whatever)and even some (whatever).NETs, SQL, SQR, PeopleTools, SB+ - plus I have written and supported applications in a lot of other languages - Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, Post Script, I3 telephony drivers, wierd BASIC variants, PL/I, ALGOL, APL...

I have also written several different types of code - Data Entry utility, Menuing utility, pseudo-window code in Pick, Inventory, Dispatch, Insurance Claims Processing, Security Guard Reporting, Incident Tracking...

Not too many of these things are snippets, though
