I like to have these two methods in my toolbelt, even though it's syntactic sugar, I think it aids clarity.

A GroovyClassLoader demonstration. The given domain is a german water flow meter system; I think, you shouldn't be able to understand the domain, but you should be able to understand, how to load a Groovy class in Java via a GroovyClassLoader.

I'm in the process of writing test fixtures for our rails site. A lot of my tests require authentication, so I've had to port our permissions system into a fixture. Rather than type out all of the information for the fixture, I decided to create a nested loop that will take care of this for me.

There's probably a rake task for this, but I wasn't able to find it, so I came up with my own solution. You'll have to do a little cleanup when it's done, however some slight mods to this loop could even eliminate that.

This little number will allow the contents of other pages to be included or embedded into the rendered HTML of an aspx page. Using the WebClient class from the .NET framework, you can conditionally load pages, even manipulate the HTML before it is rendered and in this example, fill in forms and execute javascript actions.

The following example shows how to auto-login to an Exchange Server - this was something requested for inclusion into our portal, but I left out the logic that pulls/decrypts the real password - for obvious reasons.

Enjoy!
